License and pricing
REMcalc Free is a full-featured calculator at no cost. The Pro edition is for those who outgrow the Free limits – a longer history, longer data series and an unlimited library of your own formulas.
Free and Pro at a glance
- Same features. All functions, formats and the calculation precision are identical in both editions.
- Free only limits the number of entries – the length of the history, the number of user variables and formulas, the length of a data series. The eight variable fields do not count towards the limit.
- Demos without limits. Tasks from the library supplied with the program run with the Pro limits even in Free.

The limits apply in the program window and on the command line alike. The edition you are using is shown in the window title and in the About REMcalc window.
What happens at a limit
- When the history is full, the oldest entry is deleted and the newest ones stay.
- A new user variable over the limit: the result is shown but not stored in the variable – the status bar tells you.
- A data series over the limit is not calculated; just increase the step.
- The Expression Editor does not evaluate lines beyond 100; delete older lines.

How to get Pro
The Pro edition is activated through your REMcalc account: the license belongs to your account and the program picks it up on a computer that you connect to the account with a code. You never type your account password into the program. If you do not have an account yet, create one. Without a license, or after it expires, REMcalc keeps working as the Free edition.
REMcalc is used under the license terms of EMDAT s.r.o.; the full text (in Czech) is available in the program under Help → License Terms.
Order
Payment is by bank transfer according to the details we send you. After payment you get a Pro license for the REMcalc account with the e-mail you enter.
